My name is Amanda. I worked as a full time hair stylist in a salon after receiving my cosmetology license in 2010. I decided I wanted a different career path in 2016 and started working as a floater/staff help in a preschool. I learned very quickly that teaching children was my passion and decided to become a full time early childhood educator. I have been in a classroom teaching children for the past 8 years and have worked with all age groups from 6 weeks to 6 years during this time. I absolutely love working with young children and helping them grow. I have been taking online courses towards my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education since spring 2023. I have 2 sons who are 13 and 15. We enjoy hiking, camping, fishing and swimming as a family. I love you to paint, draw and watch cooking shows in my spare time. I enjoy interior decorating as well.
