I've had my fair sure of taking care of all ages and managing their emotions accordingly. I like to take the big sister approach with the children I watch! I'll bond with your child in a way to help them see me as a friend while still maintaining a good balance of fun and safety! Your child's happiness and wellbeing is my top priority. I am good with managing children, whether it be to settle down a tantrum or give them comfort and show compassion for any "ouchies" they may have.
