I have been working with children for over 15 years in various settings. I started babysitting in middle school and worked in a daycare, primarily with two-year-olds, in high school. I continued working with kids in early childhood classrooms and as a babysitter and nanny while attending college for early childhood education classes. I graduated with my Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education in 2017 and then taught first grade for 2 years, followed by Kindergarten for a few months before leaving to work in various settings outside the public school system. I taught in two different Head Start organizations as a Pre-K teacher for several years, followed by one year teaching Pre-K in a Reggio Emilia school. I worked as a nanny for an agency in a temp/on-call role and worked with one family part-time for several months before relocating to Philly for graduate school.
