Hi, I’m Savannah!😊As the oldest sibling, I have been babysitting since as early as my kindergarten days, bottle-feeding & playing with my baby sister. I grew up helping watch & care for my younger siblings.I have babysat & tutored several other children from my cousins, to co-workers’ kids, to neighbors, to family friends.In high school I took every child development course that my school offered as well as participating in the preschool inside of my school, where we watched over & played with 1-2 year olds, & I developed a lesson plan that I taught to 3-4 year olds.I have also taken a child development course in college, & currently I work full-time as an assistant in a pre-school where I play with, help, & teach 3-5 year olds. My love for kids (of all ages!) is inexplicable, & as I continue to study psychology, I see more & more each day the importance of genuine care, love, & connection for kids.

Hello! I'm seeking jobs outside of the traditional 8:00 am to 5:00 pm work hours. I recently moved to town for a role in data science for forestry and am getting married soon, so I'm looking for supplemental income to help with wedding expenses. My background includes working as a wildland firefighter (formerly EMT certified) and traveling the world during the off-seasons. I'm bilingual, fluent in both Spanish and English, and lived in China for a year. I'm eager to continue learning Chinese and would be open to teaching it as well.During high school and middle school, I volunteered as a day camp counselor for children with special needs and babysat kids of all ages. I consider myself very patient and believe children learn best through experience. I aim to provide a safe space that fosters growth, independence, and curiosity. Every interaction is a learning opportunity, and I believe in teaching children positivity and respect for others through my actions.I respect children as individuals who sometimes need extra guidance and support.
