To gain experience and because I love kids, I would go over to the family’s home while the parents were there and play with the kids.This allowed the parents to get things done around the house. While I was living overseas for six years, I babysat for countless families on weekends, after school, and during school breaks. I’ve babysat for newborns, toddlers, as well as, kids in grade school. I like being active with the kids while I babysit, not just letting them play on their electronics. I believe the key to babysitting is for the kids to feel seen and heard.
