Hi! My name is Ava, I am a current freshman student-athlete at Minnesota State Mankato University majoring in psychology and on the Track and Field team as a pole vaulter. I am originally from Paris Kentucky, graduating from Bourbon county. During breaks I stay in Richmond Kentucky though! I am currently a nanny in a home in Mankato, but still open to babysit and house clean during my free time! I am also a 4 year+ lifeguard as well and have worked among other jobs during my high school years. I love animals and kids, I haven’t had much experience with newborn baby’s but have taken care of toddlers and older children as a daycare worker at my hometowns YMCA.

I have a deep passion for working with children, having grown up surrounded by kids of all ages. With two younger sisters and years of experience dancing at a studio with hundreds of children, I have seen it all. Well I have minimal sitting experience. I have lots of experience working with youth. For years I was employed by Northern Star council as a camp counselor leading programs over the summer and winter months. At these places I had the opportunity to work with children aged 5 to 12. I've also worked for the Mahtomedi and St. Paul public School district in there before and after school programs. In these places I had the opportunity to work with children from kindergarten to 5th grade. Currently I'm teaching special education students in an elementary school.
