I was raised by a single mother in the Midwest. Since my mother worked multiple jobs, I watched my baby brother since I was 5 years old, which created my passion for children. I babysat various children in my neighborhood and eventually became a preschool teacher. After 3 years of being a preschool teacher with children aged infant to 6 years old, I began working at group homes with children aged 2 years old to 18 years old. During my doctorate graduate program, for my practicum training, I worked with children with various mental health conditions aged 1 years old until 18 years old administering diagnostic testing. I have over 25 years of experience working with children from diverse backgrounds.

I was raised in the valley, currently in Flagstaff for school and indefinitely. I had a semi-regular babysitting job all throughout high school and found it to be a very positive experience. Regular childcare is well within my bandwidth however next semester I will have classes and will have less time to dedicate to a Wyndy family. I have found my communication very successful with kids, I am CPR certified and first AID trained. I also have my food safety certification. I am looking for a family who will need support during this summer and beyond with the understanding my academics next semester (fall 24) will provide me with less time to offer that support.
