I also learned that she responds best to structure, consistency, encouragement, and someone who will hold her accountable while still being patient with her. By working with her—even through the frustrating moments—I was able to help her become more open and receptive to learning and school activities.That experience taught me how important it is to understand each child as an individual. With your child, I would bring that same patience and attentiveness, whether we're completing schoolwork, building routines, or simply having structured fun!I’ve also helped younger family members develop healthier habits surrounding eating, exercise, and everyday routines.
