I’ve been working with children since I was 16. I started out babysitting and when I got out the military I started to teach, after I continued to work babysitting jobs. I’m currently have my cda and also all my certifications.

I began babysitting in high school (Brunswick, GA) and continued throughout college at LSU (Baton Rouge, LA)! Where I graduated with a B.S. in Psychology. Throughout this time I have experienced caring for all ages! I truly love getting to know the kids I sit and their different personalities. I have built long lasting relationships with the families I work with and it’s very important to me to continue this as I move to Charleston, SC for law school!

I am a dependable, responsible, and caring college student majoring in psychology. I absolutely love working with children and providing them with a safe, positive, and engage environment to be theirselves. Growing up, I have always been the friend or family member to volunteer babysitting. I’ve babysat kids from newborn to 13 years old. My responsibilities include supervising playtime, preparing simple meals, helping with homework, and maintaining routines. I want to build strong positive relationships with children through being attentive and supportive.

During my timethroughout highschool up until graduation, i’ve been very consistent with able to babysit, house sit, or even dog sit! I volunteer whenever I have free time at my local church for the kids! I’ve volunteered at schools for field days, etc! I volunteered for community events like children’s theatre, and i’ve even given care for child with special needs; assisting as a caregiver with picking child up and caring for them while parent works!And thankfully i’m the oldest of my 3 little sisters, so growing up i’ve been able to watch them as well for free ;)

I have worked with children for approximately 40 years. I had a wellness facility before becoming a nurse and used horses, martial arts, and character education as a tool to build children. I have served children with varying strengths including gifted. I have been working as a pediatric nurse and absolutely adore children as they are our most precious resource. I am , however, ready for a break form nursing but not from the children.
