Hello parents! My name is Taylor E, and I recently graduated from Samford with my bachelor’s in human development and family sciences! I am currently working on applying to UAB, where I plan to pursue a doctorate in occupational therapy! I am extremely passionate about helping children and families and have tons of experience working with children! I have over 5+ years of babysitting and nannying experience. I worked at a preschool throughout high school, as well as 50+ hours of volunteer work with children! Last year, I interned at a local elementary school, where I worked alongside the school counselor! I am creative, outgoing, and love working with children of all ages! I have years of babysitting experience caring for both my younger cousins and children from multiple families in my area at home and at college. I have also worked with kids through my church’s youth programs and am pursuing an elementary education degree as well. I previously taught 3rd grade for 3 years, but I have had experience teaching other grade levels and ages from infants to fifth grade! I love teaching, but engineering is my passion! I love playing with kids and have a lot of experience babysitting. I nannied for all 5 years during college and babysat as well during my free time. I have ample experience in just about everything with every age up to 13! I graduated from UAB in 2022 and have been a licensed and registered OT working with children ages 0–21 since 2023.During the day, I work as an OT for a local school district. Hi! I’m a Senior at UAB majoring in Biomedical Sciences on the Pre-Dental track. I am also a member of Alpha Omicron Pi at UAB and have previously served as the Director of Chapter Property, Director of Finance, and Vice President of Operations, but currently serve as the Chapter President. I absolutely love kiddos of all ages! I became an aunt to two nieces and two nephews at a very young age and have spent a lot of time caring for them. I currently do after-school care for two elementary school aged children and am also employed at a church nursery where I care for infants and toddlers. I am also CPR certified!
