Hi! My name is Kate and I’m currently studying marine biology at Palm Beach Atlantic. I love all things outdoors, especially surfing, swimming, and skateboarding. I’m also an artist and I love painting, drawing, and photography. Recently I’ve started doing little design projects for local businesses in my hometown and I’ve had a lot of fun with that! I grew up as the oldest in a big family, so I started babysitting pretty early on:) I had regular babysitting jobs all through high school and in the summers I work as a camp counselor, so I have experience with a wide range of ages, but I especially love babies and toddlers:)

I am First Aid and CPR certified, I have my food handler’s license, and I have received training in Pediatric Abusive Head Trauma as well as child development frameworks such as Brigance and ASQ. I do not have social media, so I am not glued to my phone. When I am with a child, my attention is on them, their safety, and their needs. I’d like to find a family who needs part-time regular care for their baby or toddler. I’m also open to one-time babysitting jobs. I am allergic to cats and nicotine, so unfortunately I cannot provide care where either would be an issue. I am a non-smoker.
