Job Description

Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable, organized, and caring caregiver to support our family with morning school preparation and afternoon/evening supervision for an 11-year-old child.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with pre-teens and can provide a balance of warmth, structure, and accountability. The primary goal is to help maintain consistent daily routines, encourage independence, and provide calm, steady support before and after school.

Schedule
Monday – Friday (Split Shift)
Morning: 6:30 AM – School Drop-Off (between 8:00–8:30 AM)
Afternoon/Evening: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Schedule may be adjusted slightly by mutual agreement.

Key Responsibilities
Morning Duties
Prepare and serve breakfast
Support a smooth, timely morning routine
Ensure backpack, homework, water bottle, medication (if applicable), and other school items are ready
Transport child safely to school
Afternoon / Evening Duties
School pick-up
Supervise and support homework completion
Encourage and monitor completion of daily chores
Assist with evening routine (shower, preparing items for next day, etc.)
Prepare or assist with simple dinner/snacks
Foster a calm and consistent bedtime routine
Light child-related housekeeping (tidying homework area, dishes used, etc.)

Qualifications
Reliable, punctual, and organized
Warm, patient, and confident in maintaining structure and expectations
Experience working with school-aged children preferred
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Reliable transportation
Non-smoker
Comfortable communicating regularly with parents regarding routines and progress

Preferred (Not Required)
CPR / First Aid certification
Experience supporting executive functioning, organization skills, or neurodivergent children
Background in education, child development, or behavioral support
