I’m seeking care for my two youngest children, ages 4.5 and 2, starting in January 2026, although may have need for a few days in December. We are new to Maine and will be living (🤞🏻🤞🏻) in Portland. My husband works from home and would probably put our 2yo down for nap, but otherwise looking for someone to support the boys with play time, snacks/lunch, and some arts and crafts!
They are both highly verbal and communicate well for their ages. They are very active and love playing with a range of toys as well as listening to music and reading. We do permit some supervised screen time after lunch/nap, but would be more than happy to reduce that time.
They have only been cared for by family to date, so there may be some adjusting, but if you aren't afraid to be a little silly with them/get on their level you will be fast friends!
