We’re looking for a reliable, engaging nanny to help care for our three children—2 (M), 4 (F), and 6 (F)—on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 1:00PM - 4:00 PM during the school year, with the potential to extend long-term.
This role is primarily focused on caring for our 2-year-old during quiet time/nap in the early afternoon, followed by school pick-up and after-school care for our older two girls. Most days will include plenty of outdoor play, so comfort supervising children outside is essential.
We already have a nanny in the mornings and are specifically looking for afternoon support.
Schedule Overview
1:00PM - 2:15 PM: Care for our 2-year-old during nap/quiet play
2:15 PM: Pick up our 4- and 6-year-old from school
2:30PM - 4:00 PM: Afternoon snack and active play with all three children
Responsibilities
Care for our 2-year-old during nap/quiet time (calm, low-stimulation play)
School pick-up for our 4 and 6-year-old at 2:15 PM
Prepare and serve simple after-school snacks
Engage the kids in play-based, creative, and screen-free activities
Spend time outdoors daily when weather allows (backyard play, walks, fresh air)
Encourage kindness, manners, and positive sibling interactions
Keep children safe, happy, and actively engaged
Communicate clearly with parents about the day and any needs
Absolutely no screen time during working hours.
