Seeking a caring and responsible nanny in Paducah, KY.

We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and nurturing nanny to provide attentive, structured care for our twin toddlers. This role is essential to our family, and we are looking for someone who values safety, routine, communication, and consistency while offering patient hands-on care.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide safe, attentive, and engaging care for twins
• Follow established daily routines for naps and play/learning
• Prepare age-appropriate meals/snacks as needed
• Continued potty training, hygiene care, and developmental support
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities (reading, play, learning, outdoor time)
• Encourage emotional development, calm transitions, and positive behavior
• Maintain cleanliness of children’s areas
• Communicate updates (daily written log also), concerns, or milestones with parents regularly


Safety & Trust Expectations:

• Constant supervision, especially with twins
• No personal phone use while actively supervising children
• No visitors without prior approval
• Immediate communication of any incidents, concerns, or injuries
• Respect for family rules, parenting preferences, and boundaries
• No smoking, vaping, alcohol, or substances during working hours
• Reach out immediately if someone has shown up to our home claiming to have the authority to be here at our home. (We will communicate if water delivery people are coming, etc)

Safety and transparency are extremely important to our family.

Household Environment:

• Parents may be in and out of the home due to business responsibilities
• Nanny maintains primary responsibility during scheduled hours
• Professionalism, discretion, and respect for privacy are required
• Maintain confidentiality regarding our family, home, and businesses
• Avoid sharing photos or information about the children on social media
• This is not a housekeeping role beyond child-related tasks


Health & Wellness:
• Notify parents promptly if feeling unwell or exposed to illness
• Follow family health guidelines (handwashing, etc)
• Support healthy routines including naps, hydration, and balanced meals

• Communicate if medicine is needed before giving to the children


Emergency Preparedness:
• Comfortable handling minor injuries and basic first aid
• Familiar with emergency contacts and procedures
• Calm and responsive in unexpected situations


Team Partnership Mindset:
• Comfortable working collaboratively with parents
• Open to feedback and routine adjustments
• Willing to grow with the family as children develop
• Long-term mindset preferred for stability and consistency



Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
• Experience caring for toddlers (twin or multiple experience preferred)
• Calm, patient, and nurturing demeanor
• Dependable, punctual, and organized
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable following routines and receiving feedback
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)


Schedule & Reliability:
• Consistent schedule with occasional advance-notice adjustments
• Reliability and timeliness are essential
• Long-term consistency preferred

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (if driving is required)
• Use of family vehicle or approved personal vehicle only
• Proper installation and use of car seats at all times
