Part-Time Nanny / Student Educator Needed for Twins & Toddler (Flexible Schedule)

About Our Family
Hi there! We are a busy, loving family looking for a mindful, engaged part-time nanny to join our team. I am a real estate agent currently launching a new business, and my wife is a corporate lawyer so our household is dynamic! We have adorable 7-month-old twins who need primary care, and a sweet 3-year-old daughter who is in school full-time but will need care during evenings, school holidays, and closures.
We don't just view this as a babysitting job—we are looking for someone who loves child development and wants to actively engage our children. In our home, we practice and value the Montessori, RIE, and Reggio Emilia philosophies. We strive to create an environment that respects our children's autonomy, encourages independent exploration, and fosters a natural love for learning.

This role is perfect for a college or graduate student! We are specifically looking for candidates currently studying or holding a degree in a child-related field, such as:
Early Childhood Education / Elementary Education
Child Psychology
Social Work
Family Studies / Human Development

Your Vibe: You are mindful, observant, and intentional with how you engage. Instead of just managing behavior, you focus on creating a stimulating, age-appropriate "curriculum" of play and exploration for our 7-month-olds and our toddler.

Schedule & Flexibility
Hours: 2 to 3 days a week.
Required Hours: Thursdays from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM are strictly required. *
Flexibility: Beyond Thursdays, we can be incredibly flexible! We are happy to work around your university class schedule to find set days that work for both of us. Because my real estate business is growing, there may be opportunities for additional week-to-week flexibility or extra hours if you want them.

Key Responsibilities
Provide attentive, respectful care for 7-month-old twins (feeding, napping, diapering, and floor play).
Create and implement stimulating, philosophy-aligned activities (Montessori/Reggio/RIE inspired) that promote development.
Care for our 3-year-old during school closures, holidays, or occasional evenings.
Maintain a safe, organized, and tidy environment for the children (tidying up toys and light meal prep for the kids).

Qualifications
Experience caring for infants (multiples experience is a huge plus!).
Background or current enrollment in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or Family Studies, strongly preferred.
Familiarity with (or a strong desire to learn and practice) Montessori, RIE, and Reggio Emilia frameworks.
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to get certified).
Reliable transportation.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
