Part time nanny needed Upper East Side starting in Feb (83rd & York Ave)
Hi! I’m a single mom and teacher living near 83rd & York Avenue, and I’m looking for a part-time nanny for a short-term position (4 months) as I return to work after maternity leave.
Position Details
• Start Date: February 19
• End Date: June 26 (end of the school year)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–1:30pm
• Hours: 30 hours/week
Role & Ideal Candidate
This position is primarily focused on caring for my baby, who will be 5 months old at the start of the job. I’m looking for someone with strong infant experience who is warm, attentive, and safety-focused. Responsibilities include feeding, diapering, naps, and age-appropriate play. The role will also include light morning help with my 7-year-old, specifically helping them get ready and out the door for school.
The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, nurturing, and comfortable committing to a short-term position. I will need 3 professional references and will run a back ground check after interviewing and reference contact. Preference is for someone local or living nearby.
