Seeking a caring and compassionate nanny near 37115.

We are looking for someone who is able to keep a toddler safe and engaged as much as possible. Someone who is mobile enough to keep up with him, and who has some understanding of child development at this stage, and what is appropriate for play, physical, and speech development.
He still tends to contact nap, or to begin naps being held/on laps before transfer to another sleeping surface, but as he is turning one, these things are all continuing to change.
The parents typically do baby lunch and cleanup, as well as diaper changes. Not opposed to caregiver doing some of this, but we use cloth diapers and it can be a little fiddly/annoying, so we don’t mind doing it if we are not in an active work call. Parents are present for emergency and other help (even overly fussiness--we work from home and need some time to focus on work, but also can't stay away if baby sounds distressed for long), and baby still nurses sometimes before naps or after meals (or just for comfort).
Caregiver would likely help with snacks and also help out a bit with lunch. Baby must be seated to eat (even cracker snacks) for safety.
We prefer nanny not take baby off premises, but outdoor play is fine (large yard) and we are working on making an outdoor space safe for baby. Currently he doesn't walk/crawl fast enough to need a fence if closely supervised, but does need to be discouraged from consuming hazards outdoors.
Baby is barely walking as of September, putting everything in mouth, and babbling. Enjoys books and toys and movement and music. Eats solids fairly well (we are doing self-feeding so please do not help him too much buly putting food in his mouth for him). Teething and bothered by it.
Safety is first priority, followed by a loving attention to surround him with the play he needs for his stage of development.
