• Keep our energetic 2-year-old and 13 month old actively engaged through outdoor play, movement, exploration, and hands-on activities.
• Encourage gross motor play, climbing, running, obstacle courses, playground time, nature walks, and other age-appropriate physical activities.
• Foster creativity, curiosity, imagination, and a love of learning through play.
• Support healthy meals, snacks, naps, and daily routines.
• Help children build independence, confidence, and age-appropriate self-help skills.
• Guide behavior with patience, consistency, and respect while helping children navigate big emotions.
• Model kindness, compassion, gratitude, and respectful communication.
• Limit screen use and prioritize meaningful interaction, conversation, books, and play.
• Prepare simple meals and snacks for the children as needed.
• Tidy children’s play spaces, toys, dishes, and any messes made during your shift.
• Communicate openly about the children’s day, activities, successes, and any concerns.
