Seeking a fun and engaging nanny in Des Plaines.

We are a busy parents of 4 children, 5 and younger, seeking a reliable, kind, and experienced nanny to help care for our two young children (mostly Joey since Santi is breastfeeding and mom carries him for his naps)

-Joey (1.5 years old): Joey is a sweet, curious little boy with cerebral palsy affecting his mobility. He is happy, expressive, and making great progress with support. Experience with special needs is appreciated but not required—patience, attentiveness, and willingness to learn are most important.
-Santiago (3 months old): Santi is a thriving, easygoing baby who is always smiling and engaging with whoever is in front of him. He does not have special needs and is working on typical developmental milestones.

Responsibilities Include:
-Providing attentive, nurturing care for both children
-Engaging the children in age-appropriate play and developmental activities
-Feeding, diapering, and supporting nap routines
-Following any care or therapy-related instructions for Joey
-Light housekeeping related to the children, such as: Tidying play area, Washing bottles and children’s dishes, Children’s laundry as needed

Ideal Candidate:
-Experienced with infants and toddlers
-Patient, dependable, and with good energy
-Comfortable caring for a child with mild to moderate special needs
-CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
-Strong communication skills and respectful of family routines
