Position Details & Daily Responsibilities

This role is centered around providing exceptional care and developmental support for our 2-year-old daughter, Alicia, while assisting with infant care as needed.

We are seeking someone who understands toddler development and enjoys actively engaging — not simply supervising.

Toddler Development & Daily Structure (Alicia)

• Plan and lead age-appropriate activities (reading, sensory play, fine motor activities, outdoor walks)
• Encourage language development through conversation and reading
• Reinforce manners, boundaries, and positive behavior
• Support potty-training readiness when appropriate
• Create a calm, structured day with predictable transitions
• Promote independent play while remaining engaged and attentive
• Foster confidence, curiosity, and emotional regulation

• Bottle preparation and feeding
• Diapering and safe sleep practices
• Monitoring naps
• Supporting tummy time and early developmental milestones

• Follow our nutrition preferences and guidelines
• Clean highchair and eating area after meals
• Wash bottles and toddler dishes used during shift
• Maintain an organized and sanitary kitchen space related to the children

• Wash, fold, and put away children’s laundry
• Maintain organization of nursery and toddler room
• Rotate seasonal clothing as needed
• Keep diaper station and clothing drawers orderly

Light Household Upkeep (Child-Related)

This is not a housekeeper role — but we do expect pride in maintaining an organized environment.

• Reset play areas daily
• Tidy kitchen after children’s meals
• Wipe down surfaces used during the day
• Keep stroller, diaper bags, and essentials stocked
• Maintain overall calm, orderly atmosphere
