Hi! I’m Lauren. I have several years of experience caring for children and youth in both school and residential settings, and I truly love creating safe, supportive, and fun environments where kids can feel comfortable being themselves. I’m trained in trauma-informed care and crisis intervention, certified as a Wilderness First Responder, and ServSafe Manager certified through my role as a Culinary Specialist in the Minnesota Army National Guard. I’m currently beginning graduate school in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am looking for flexible babysitting opportunities or shorter shifts that work well alongside my school schedule. I’m always happy to talk through options that fit your family’s needs. Outside of work, I love painting, stargazing, being outdoors, and attempting to water ski badly but enthusiastically. I enjoy music ranging from heavy metal to country, and I’m a big animal lover with two cats named Ember and Eden. Families often describe me as patient, dependable, calm, and genuinely caring, and I love creating fun and safe spaces where kids can just be kids.
