About Quinn

Hi Families! My name is Quinn, and I am so excited to meet you and your little ones. I am a college student studying Neuroscience on a premed track, so while I love studying, I also love taking care of children! While they are very honest, that is truly what makes them so sweet and fun to be around. I am CPR/AED/First Aid certified but am also "certifiably" reliable and ready to meet you! I have worked at the YMCA for a few years as a day care attendant, a day camp attendant, and a youth sports coach/referee. And let me tell you, I absolutely love it! While it is a lot of children to take care of all at once, it is so amazing to see them make and form new connections with staff and each other. It is due to this experience that I am no stranger to redirection and offering multiple activity choices. So, if you have a kiddo who is particular about the way of things-- I am your girl! I also babysit for friends and family, and have recently started caring for other families as well, which is what drew me to Sitter City! A specialty of mine is caring for special needs. I have worked with special needs children and teenagers for five years in a variety of settings: school/classroom, sports coaching, after-school programming, etc. I am comfortable with nonverbal children due to this experience, so please don't be worried about that!
