Hi parents! My name is Blair H and I am currently a junior at Virginia Tech studying Commercial Real Estate and Property Management. Outside of coursework, I’m actively involved in my sorority, where I participate in philanthropy work supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. This semester, I’m taking all online classes to accommodate a family trip in March, giving me more free time and a flexible schedule. I’m excited to use this opportunity to take on jobs that allow me to engage with the community and do what I love—working with children! With no set class times, I’m open to a variety of opportunities and can easily adapt to different schedules. I have experience caring for children of all ages, through babysitting, lifeguarding, and two years working in the Kids Zone at ACAC in Richmond, VA. There, I managed the safety and engagement of 50+ children, organized activities, assisted with homework, and resolved conflicts. I have CPR/AED training and experience supporting children with developmental disabilities, ensuring a safe, fun, and inclusive environment for all.
