Hi! My name is Shayla, and I'm 19 years old. I'm currently in college studying to become a Registered Nurse because I have a passion for caring for others and helping people. I currently work in security, where I've developed strong skills in staying calm, being responsible, and handling situations with safety as the top priority. I also have experience working with children through the YMCA Summer Camp program, where I enjoyed creating a fun, engaging, and positive environment for kids while making sure they were always safe. I'm CPR certified and believe that while babysitting should be fun, safety always comes first. I love spending time with children, whether that's playing games, helping with homework, doing crafts, or keeping them entertained with age-appropriate activities. I'm looking to gain more hands-on experience working with kids as I continue my journey toward becoming a nurse. Families can count on me to be dependable, patient, caring, and attentive, and I'll always treat your children with the same care and respect I would want for my own family.
