About Anisa

Hi! My name is Anisa S, and I’m a New York State certified high school teacher based in New York City with 10+ years of experience working with children and young people of different ages, learning needs, and personalities. Through teaching and childcare experience, I’ve learned how to be patient, responsible, organized, and calm in different situations. I’m comfortable creating a safe, structured, and positive environment where children feel supported, respected, and cared for. My experience has helped me build strong communication skills, manage routines, assist with schoolwork, and keep children engaged in meaningful activities. I enjoy helping children learn, feel confident, and have fun while also making sure expectations and safety come first. Families can count on me to be dependable, respectful, and attentive. I’m excited to bring my teaching background, childcare experience, and love for working with young people into sitter work this summer.
