About Amber

Hi! I have 2 years of both paid and unpaid experience working with children in social work and mentoring settings. I received my Master of Social Work Degree in May of 2026 with a specialization in children, youth, and families. I genuinely enjoy working with children and creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment where they can feel comfortable being themselves. I have a library of educational, creative, and age-appropriate activities that I can bring along, while also understanding that every child and family has their own routines, expectations, and parenting styles. I’m happy to adapt to what works best for your family and follow your routines and preferences. My background in social work has also given me experience building relationships with children, supporting their emotional and social development, encouraging positive behaviors, and communicating effectively with families. I’m responsible, patient, dependable, and will always strive to make babysitting a positive experience for both the children and their parents!
