About Julia

Hi! I’m so excited to be part of Wyndy. I have several years of experience working with kids in both day and overnight camp settings. At day camp, I worked with children aged 4–5, leading engaging activities like pool time, tennis lessons, and arts & crafts. At overnight camp, I cared for children aged 6–16, and was directly responsible for a group of campers—helping with daily routines, bedtime, and overnight supervision. The camp ran for 8 weeks each summer, giving me experience with a wide range of ages and personalities. While I feel most confident with kids ages 5 and up, I’ve also cared for toddlers and preschoolers (ages 1–5) through family, and I’ve really come to enjoy that age too. I’m responsible, nurturing, and love to make things fun and meaningful. I speak Portuguese and French, and I’d be happy to incorporate language exposure into our time together—whether through conversation, play, or songs. I also love healthy food, outdoor adventures, and making genuine connections. Looking forward to working with great families and bringing positive energy into your home!
