About Rachel

Hi! I’m Rachel! I’m a caring, responsible, and fun-loving person who genuinely loves working with kids. I have a degree in Communications Studies with a minor in Family Life from BYU, and I’ve had lots of different experiences working with children of all ages. I currently work as a live-in nanny, where I help with daily routines, activities, meals, transportation, schoolwork, and creating a fun and supportive environment. I’ve also worked as a camp counselor, which taught me how to keep kids engaged, handle different personalities, and make sure everyone feels included and cared for. One of my favorite experiences was working as a storytime performer at a library! I loved getting to bring stories to life and interact with kids through reading, acting, music, and play. I’ve also worked as a children’s cooking instructor, where I got to teach kids new skills while having lots of fun together. I love finding creative ways to keep kids entertained and engaged. I enjoy baking, cooking, reading, crafts, games, playing outside, and coming up with activities based on what each child enjoys. I’m patient, dependable, and attentive, but I also love being silly and having fun! I want kids to feel comfortable being themselves around me and for parents to feel confident knowing their children are in good hands.
