About Avery

My childcare experience includes private babysitting, nannying, and tutoring for multiple families across the San Antonio area. I have worked with children ranging from 3 months to 14 years old in both one-on-one and group settings. I have been employed as an after-school teacher with Lewisville Independent School District for the last two academic school years, where I am certified in CPR and First Aid. In addition to private care, I have experience supervising large groups of up to 70 children while collaborating with other teachers and planning engaging activities. Additionally, I have experience as an overnight summer camp counselor, where I developed strong skills in creating engaging, safe, and supportive environments for kids and teens. Finally, I recently graduated with a Bachelors degree in Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology in August of 2026. Currently attending Texas Woman’s University while working on my Masters in Speech-Language Pathology with an emphasis on Deaf school-age education.
