About Jayde

Hello! My name is Jayde and I am currently a junior at Texas State University majoring in Social Work, and I am seeking positions that allow me to continue working with young children in supportive and developmentally focused environments. Ideally, I am looking for childcare or early childhood education roles working with children between the ages of 3 months and 5 years old, as this is the age group I have the most hands-on experience in with. Through my previous assistant teaching positions, I have developed a strong understanding of early developmental milestones, classroom structure, and age-appropriate behavior guidance strategies. I am especially interested in roles where I can help foster children’s emotional, social, and cognitive growth while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment. My long-term goal is to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and working with young children is an important part of that journey. I am patient, attentive, and comfortable working in fast-paced settings that require both teamwork and independent responsibility. Overall, I am looking for opportunities that allow me to support children during their foundational years while continuing to grow professionally in the field of social work.
