Hi! My name is Mackenzie, I've been a professional nanny for 6 years and I've also worked at camps and church daycares! I am currently a junior in college hoping to obtain a psychology degree and open my own practice helping adults and children! My caregiving skills follow along the lines of gentle parenting and baby/child-led. I like to get into the mind and on the level of the child to ensure that I am meeting their need in the kindest and safest way, for example, if a toddler makes an accident, I like to help them learn from it in a digestible manner, I gently explain what happened and allow them to take the lead in cleaning while also helping if it's a big mess or an unsafe object!
