Hi y’all! My name is Macie W, and I’m currently a sophomore at Highlands College. I’m originally from Houston Texas, and I’m pursuing a degree in pastoral ministry with hopes of going into women’s ministry. I have several years of experience working with children. For the past three to four years, I’ve worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor in both Houston and Birmingham. I’m also certified in CPR for both children and adults, as well as basic first aid and medical care. In addition, I’ve served in my church’s children’s ministry for the past three years, which has given me even more experience caring for and working with kids. I currently work as a swim instructor at a country club near my college, and I’m hoping to use my days off to babysit as a way to earn some extra income while continuing to do something I genuinely enjoy. I also have my own reliable car and would be happy to drive your children to activities, appointments, school, or other places if needed. I do not currently have car seats or booster seats, so those would need to be provided by the family when necessary. I would love the opportunity to care for your children and provide a safe, fun, and positive environment for them!
