About Abigail

Hi! My name is Abigail, and I recently graduated from Belmont University. I love living in the Nashville area and have a deep passion for working with children of all ages. I’m a lifelong member of the Girl Scouts of America, where I’ve been engaging with and mentoring younger children since elementary school. I earned my Gold Award by creating a Youth Education and Volunteer Program at a nonprofit in my hometown of Atlanta that supports women and infants affected by trafficking. This experience taught me empathy, adaptability, and a deep sensitivity to the needs of children, especially those under 4. With older kids, I’ve taught and coached dance classes — I trained as a ballerina for 15 years! I love bringing creativity and movement into playtime, and I always aim to make kids feel seen, safe, and engaged. I’m certified in First Aid and CPR (Infant, Child, and Adult), and I have extensive experience with children ages 4–12, especially girls. I’m organized, creative, and happy to help out with household tasks. I drive a reliable SUV, have a current driver’s license, and am based in the Belmont-Hillsboro area. I’d love the opportunity to connect with your family and bring calm, care, and fun into your home!

Off-Campus Involvement
Outside of babysitting, I work at a local coffee shop and love the sense of community it brings. I’m also a big sister, so caring for little ones feels like second nature to me. In my free time, I enjoy being outside — whether it’s going for walks, reading in the sun, or finding a quiet park to relax. I bring that same calm, warm energy into every home I work in.
