About Darcy

Hi! My name is Darcy, and I’m originally from Raleigh, NC. I went to UNC-Chapel Hill for my undergraduate degree and am now in graduate school here in Charleston studying Historic Preservation. My class schedule varies from day to day, so I have some flexibility and am happy to work around your family’s schedule when I can. I have experience as an au pair for younger children in both France and Germany, as well as providing after-school care and school pick-up for middle school-aged children while I was at UNC. I’ve also spent plenty of time caring for family pets and dog sitting while families are away on vacation. Before going back to school, I worked as an Executive and Personal Assistant to a CEO, which gave me lots of experience with scheduling, organization, errands, and general household management. If your family needs help beyond childcare, such as pet care, errands, scheduling, or looking after your home while you’re away, I’d be happy to help! I’m responsible, organized, and easygoing, and I really enjoy getting to know the families I work with and making their lives a little easier!
