About Valerie

Nurturing young minds is something I am truly passionate about. I began working with children during my junior and senior years of high school at a daycare in Philadelphia, where I gained hands-on experience caring for children from newborns to five years old. This experience strengthened my love for childcare and supporting families. In addition to my daycare experience, I am a godmother and have continued to be actively involved in caring for young children ranging from newborns to three years old. I am comfortable caring for up to two children at a time and pride myself on being patient, calm, friendly, and approachable. I believe in creating a safe, nurturing environment while maintaining structure and consistency. I respectfully enforce household rules and routines and understand the importance of clear boundaries for children’s well-being. I also value open communication and keep parents updated via text or phone call, always following their preferred method of communication.
