About Ellison
I’ve spent most of my life around kids. As the oldest of five siblings, I was helping care for younger children long before it became part of my job. Over the years, I’ve worked as a teacher, substitute teacher, art instructor, and summer camp leader, creating engaging experiences that help children learn, explore, and build confidence. I’m also a mother, which has given me an even deeper appreciation for the trust families place in the people caring for their children. I love getting down on a child’s level, following their interests, encouraging their creativity, and helping them feel safe, seen, and supported. Whether we’re making art, exploring outdoors, reading stories, or simply navigating the ups and downs of a day together, I bring patience, flexibility, and a genuine love of working with children.
