About Marissa

Hi! My name is Marissa, and I’m a kind, nurturing, and patient person who genuinely enjoys spending time with kids. I have three younger siblings, with the oldest being 9, so I’ve grown up around children and have plenty of experience caring for and entertaining them. For three years, I taught swim lessons to children ages 3–6, which taught me how to be patient, attentive, encouraging, and responsible while working with young kids. I have also previously been CPR and First Aid certified, and while my certifications are not currently active, I understand the importance of keeping children safe and being prepared. I love reading, playing games, spending time outside, and finding creative ways to keep kids engaged and having fun. Outside of childcare, I enjoy fishing, spending time with my dog, and staying active. I am currently attending college at OSU. I’m someone who truly cares about making children feel comfortable, safe, and valued, and I would love the opportunity to become a dependable babysitter for your family!
