About Basosila

I’m originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo and have been living in the United States for the past 10 years. I’m a caring, responsible, patient, and dependable person who genuinely enjoys caring for others, especially children. I have hands-on childcare experience from helping care for my cousin’s newborn, who is now 6 years old, and I currently help my sister care for her newborn baby. My experience includes feeding, diaper changes, meal preparation, keeping the baby comfortable and entertained, and staying with the baby while my sister attends appointments. I also currently work as a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) in home care, where I provide hands-on support and care to clients. This experience has strengthened my patience, communication skills, responsibility, and ability to pay close attention to someone’s individual needs. I understand how important it is for families to feel comfortable and confident leaving their loved ones in someone else’s care. I would bring the same level of care, respect, and attentiveness to every family I work with.
