About Shauna

Hi! I’m Shauna! I have over 5 years of childcare experience caring for children from 3 months to 10 years old. I’ve worked as both a babysitter and nanny, and childcare has always been something that comes very naturally to me. I would describe myself as warm, nurturing, patient, playful. I love getting down on the floor to play, being silly, doing crafts, reading books, playing outside, singing songs, going on little adventures, and finding activities that make each child happy. I really enjoy getting to know kids as individuals and learning their personalities, interests, and little routines. I’m affectionate and comforting while also being able to provide structure, follow boundaries, and keep routines consistent. There is truly nothing I wouldn’t do to keep your kiddos safe. I have experience with everything from bottles, diapers, naps, and infant care to school aged activities, meals, transportation, and bedtime routines. I’m comfortable jumping into a family’s normal routine and want the children I care for to feel safe, comfortable, and excited when I’m there. I’m currently studying Psychology and plan to pursue my Master’s in Social Work after graduation. I truly value the relationships I build with both children and their parents. I truly want to be someone your kids look forward to playing with, and someone you know you can trust.
