About Elizabatha

Hi! I’m Elizabatha, an elementary educator with a genuine passion for working with children. I have experience caring for children in daycare and in-home daycare settings, as well as professional experience as a second-grade teacher and private tutor. My childcare experience began during my middle and high school years, when I worked as an assistant in both a daycare and an in-home daycare. I helped care for children, organize games and activities, prepare meals, and support daily learning. These experiences taught me the importance of patience, attentiveness, flexibility, and making children feel safe and comfortable. I later earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, graduating magna cum laude, and worked as a second-grade teacher. As a teacher, I planned engaging activities, established routines and expectations, supported positive behavior, differentiated instruction for individual needs, monitored student progress, and communicated regularly with families. I have also worked as a private tutor, providing literacy and math support and helping students strengthen foundational skills. As a sitter, I bring the same warmth, responsibility, and creativity that I bring to my classroom. I enjoy keeping children engaged through games, crafts, reading, educational activities, and age-appropriate play while also maintaining routines and boundaries. I understand that every child is different and may need something different from their caregiver—whether that is help with homework, an energetic playmate, or simply a patient adult who will listen. I take the responsibility of caring for children seriously. My goal is to provide a safe, positive, and fun environment where children feel supported and parents can feel confident and comfortable while they are away.
