About Alaina

I have over a decade of experience working with children in a variety of settings, including babysitting, childcare, live-in nannying, travel nannying, and teaching. I am especially passionate about caring for infants, toddlers, and young children and have extensive experience supporting children through their early developmental years. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and am currently completing my Master’s degree in Special Education. I currently teach four-year-old preschool at a local private school, where I have the opportunity to work with children with a wide range of personalities, abilities, and individual needs. Throughout my career, I have cared for and worked with hundreds of children. I also volunteered for over four years in the NICU at a children’s hospital, where I provided comfort and care to newborns and infants. This experience strengthened my passion for working with babies and deepened my understanding of the importance of providing a calm, nurturing, and responsive environment. I am CPR and First Aid certified and have training in Infant Death Syndrome (IDS) and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) prevention. I also have a valid driver’s license and am comfortable providing safe transportation when needed. I am a patient, dependable, nurturing, and caring person who truly loves working with children. I believe every child deserves to feel safe, supported, valued, and cared for, and my goal is to create a positive and loving environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
