About Sydney

Hello, my name is Sydney. I am 22 years old and I have a love for animals, being outside in the sun, and reading my favorite books. I also have a passion for caring for people of all ages. I have extensive sitter experience with kids of all ages and hospital and Nursing Home experience where I applied care for the elderly, adults, and children. In late middle school and throughout my high school years, I babysat for several different families with ages raging from 4-12. I was responsible for engaging in activities with them, preparing meals, aiding with homework and taking them to after school programs. After High School, I attended college for Nursing and worked as a psychiatric technician where I worked with children and adults who were in mental health crisis or had behavioral problems at home. This job helped me learn how to more effectively communicate and engage with children. I am also CPR- first aid certified and have a background working in several healthcare settings as mentioned.
