About Dauniesha

I have worked at my previous University’s (Towson University) Child Care Center for the past 2 years. I’ve worked as a student teacher there in the various classrooms ranging from ages 2-4 (1 and 5 as well). The center provided a diverse and inclusive learn through play environment. This experience has given me hands-on exposure to working with students who come from different cultural backgrounds and who have a wide range of social, emotional, and developmental needs. I have learned how early social-emotional development directly impacts behavior, learning, and relationships, and how important it is to meet children where they are. Working closely with children, families, and fellow educators has strengthened my ability to observe, listen, and respond thoughtfully while confirming my passion for supporting their well-being and creating safe spaces where all children feel seen, supported, and understood.
