About Linda
Hi! My name is Linda, and I’m a graduate student at SAIS here in DC. I’ve been babysitting since eighth grade, when I got my first job caring for my neighbor’s daughter, who happened to have the same name as me! As the oldest sibling and cousin, I grew up helping care for younger children and have always loved being around kids. Over the years, I’ve babysat for many families from different backgrounds, including during the past year when I lived in Italy. I also have experience teaching Sunday school, working in my church’s nursery, and volunteering at the Boys and Girls Club throughout high school and my undergraduate years. Beyond childcare, I’m happy to help with homework, as I have experience tutoring children, including language learning. I can also prepare meals and help with other everyday tasks. I enjoy finding ways to keep children engaged, whether that means reading, playing games, helping with schoolwork, or exploring their interests. Most importantly, I want children to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their parents are away. I look forward to meeting new families!
