About Caroline

Hi! My name is Caroline P, and I have been babysitting consistently for families and for church since 2021. As a current nursing student who hopes to work in pediatrics in the future, I really care about the safety and wellbeing of all the kids I get the honor of caring for. I am a certified nursing assistant and am BLS certified; I have served children with epilepsy, severe allergies, and intellectual disabilities. In past summers, I have worked as a camp counselor at Camp ACC in Tennessee as a for children aged 3rd to 6th grade and was responsible for keeping my group of eight girls entertained and safe in the Appalachian mountain campground. I have volunteered for my church’s newborn/nursery and toddler’s class consistently since 2021, giving me lots of experience with hands on play, soothing anxious kids, and working with parents’ specific wants or concerns for their children. In previous jobs, I have babysat up to four children for a single family and feel comfortable serving multi-child families. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to work with many elementary aged students and love to encourage reading or help with homework! I am proficient in American Sign Language and feel confident working with hard of hearing/ deaf or AAC device users! Further, I have ample experience dog, cat, and even bird sitting and feel confident caring for pets as well as kids!
