About Jama

I’ve been working with kids since I was big enough to carry a diaper bag! I started babysitting back in middle school and quickly realized just how much I love being around little ones. Since then, I’ve worked in a variety of settings—from lively summer camps and daycares to YMCA kids' programs full of energy and laughter. For the past four years, I’ve had the joy of being a third grade teacher, where every day brings new giggles, creativity, and heartwarming “aha” moments. I’m currently working toward my master’s in mental health counseling, and while I’m hitting the books, I’m also looking for a part-time job where I can keep connecting with kids. I’m super energetic, outgoing, and creative—I love dreaming up fun activities, games, and crafts, and I’m always the first to jump in and play too! I truly believe in the magic of childhood—running around outside, letting imaginations run wild, and just being a kid.
