About Virginia

First and foremost, I am a proud mom to five children, four stepchildren, and four dogs. I have a deep love for children and animals, and caring for others has always been a passion of mine. With over 10 years of childcare experience, I am dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, and positive environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive. I hold a college degree and am CPR and First Aid certified. My calm, patient, and creative personality allows me to connect easily with children of all ages, from infants to preteens. I also have experience working with children with special needs, including Down syndrome, autism, and epilepsy. I believe every child deserves compassionate, individualized care and encouragement. I enjoy engaging children in imaginative play, educational activities, and outdoor fun that supports both learning and confidence. Communication with parents is very important to me. I provide daily written reports and verbal updates at pickup to ensure families feel informed, supported, and confident in their child’s care. In addition, I am an experienced swimmer and enjoy teaching children water safety and basic swimming skills in a safe and supervised environment. My greatest joy is watching the children in my care grow, develop new skills, and feel happy and secure. I am committed to providing dependable, loving support to every family I work with.
