About Monica

I’m a mother of two and have been living in Charlotte for 18 years since moving from Chicago. I’ve been teaching in early education for over 20 years, with experience working with children from infancy through grade school. I truly enjoy working with children because it’s such a fun and rewarding career—watching them grow and develop new skills in creative, active, and engaging ways brings me joy every day. Outside of work, when I’m babysitting or nannying, I enjoy being in the child’s environment. I love how excited they get to show me their toys and share their play experiences at home. I also understand that parents have busy lives, so I’m open to helping with overnights or picking up and dropping off children when needed. I believe in creating a safe, nurturing, and positive environment where children can learn and have fun at the same time. My goal is to give parents peace of mind knowing their children are in caring and capable hands. I look forward to partnering with families and becoming a trusted part of their child’s daily routine.
