With over a decade of childcare experience, caring for children has always been something I genuinely love. I have been babysitting since I was 12 and maintain ongoing babysitting relationships with families throughout my local community. During the pandemic, I had the opportunity to nanny for a family of three, where I created fun, meaningful experiences through baking, arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, and educational activities while also helping maintain an organized home. During college, I worked in a daycare setting, gaining hands-on experience with children ranging from 6 weeks to 6 years old. For the past 3.5 years, I have worked as an elementary school teacher and currently teach first grade. I love watching children learn, discover new things, and grow into their own little personalities, and I bring that same enthusiasm, patience, and creativity into my caregiving. Growing up with a sister with medical special needs has shaped me into a compassionate, attentive, and understanding caregiver. It has taught me the importance of patience, individualized care, and making every child feel safe, valued, and understood. I believe some of the most meaningful childhood memories come from the simplest moments, whether that’s baking together in the kitchen, exploring nature, creating a fun craft, or simply being there to listen and play. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, spending time outdoors with my family, and expressing my creativity through crafting. I love bringing these interests into my time with children and creating an environment where they feel comfortable being themselves, exploring their interests, and having fun. My goal is to provide families with dependable, thoughtful care while giving parents peace of mind knowing their children are in a safe, nurturing, and loving environment.
